Collection of Three Fruit-Infused Shampoo, Shower Gel and Bubble Baths
Inspire Moms to be Healthy from Head to Toe

100% Net Proceeds to Benefit PBS and PBS KIDS

Arlington, VA, October 16, 2008 - Building on a successful cause-marketing partnership, philosophy and PBS will launch a new recipe box gift set that benefits PBS and PBS KIDS and offers parents a few ideas to nurture a child's total well-being as they explore the world around them. The recipe box, which includes shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath, will be available online and in philosophy stores for $18 beginning October 15. Philosophy will donate 100% of net proceeds directly to PBS, which will invest the revenues in PBS and PBS KIDS programming and services. Last year, philosophy and PBS teamed up to present the tree house, an apple-a-day set that raised funds for PBS KIDS.

The recipe box for moms (that will delight children as well) includes three classic fruit-inspired indulgences - fresh melon smoothie, orchard pear refresher and raspberry sorbet 3-in-1 shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath. Completing the set are three "healthy recipe" cards that feature family activities on one side and recipes for nutritious snacks on the other side, including fresh melon smoothies and raspberry sorbet. The recipe cards suggest ways families can spend time together preparing healthy meals and being physically active, indoors or out, as well as helping to build self-esteem.

"We are very proud to be partnering again with philosophy to create a fresh and innovative way to engage moms in healthy activities," said Andrew Russell, Senior Vice President, PBS Ventures. "The dollars raised through this initiative will help PBS continue its work to provide content, resources and tools that support the positive development of children's total well-being."

"Every parent wishes they had the perfect recipe for raising happy, healthy children. But since one recipe may not satisfy all, philosophy is proud to support all the resources PBS and PBS KIDS have to offer," said philosophy Chief Executive Officer, Michael McNamara. "We are so pleased to support a company that shares our commitment to total healthy development - mind, body and spirit."

The recipe box will be available exclusively at philosophy.com and philosophy stores or by calling 1.800.568.3151.
