PBS Receives 47 News and Documentary Emmy® Nominations

PBS programs received 47 nominations for the 40th Annual News & Documentary Emmy® Awards, the most earned by any organization for the sixth consecutive year. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominees on Thursday, July 25, 2019. The awards honor programming distributed during the 2018 calendar year. 

PBS programs receiving multiple nominations include INDEPENDENT LENS (12), FRONTLINE (10), PBS NEWSHOUR (6) and POV (6). A complete list of PBS nominations is below.
